About ProSiebenSat.1 TV

ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH is a subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. Since 2009, advertising sponsored TV-Channels SAT.1, ProSieben and Kabel Eins have been forming a joint venture in Unterföhrung, near Munich. In May 2010 they were joined by Channel sixx and SAT.1 Gold.

Our Task

TBO INTERACTIVE was requested to develop a highly flexible iPad App for evaluation, acceptance and early optimization of TV formats, pilot films, castings and movie trailers based on real-time response technology. The resulting Research Lab App offers a intuitive, playful handling and evaluation process, well combined with panel surveys, as well as a backend which is individually optimized for the client’s needs. From the backend, anonymous participants and focus groups can be added and formed in no time to allow the collection of moods and data with no delay.

Collected data and reports are summarized in fact-sheets which form the basis of decision-making processes when considering further production steps. ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG has been using Research Lab App successfully since December 2012.
